Our candle formula is designed to burn down and then out, so when burning our container candles, make sure you have enough time to let the wax liquefy to the container's perimeter before extinguishing the flame. This is to achieve a full melt pool and will help keep your container candles burning correctly, without tunneling, and will allow you to get the full value of your candle purchase. To achieve a full melt pool, a container candle should burn 1 hour for every inch of its diameter. For example, if the candle's diameter is 2 inches, it should burn between 2 and 3 hours.
When properly trimmed before the initial lighting, under most circumstances, our candles' wicks are self-trimming. However, if the candle is left burning for several hours after it has achieved its full melt pool, you may need to extinguish the flame, and trim the wick. Relight the candle if you wish.
LISTED BELOW ARE MORE USEFUL TIPS AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
Never leave candles burning unattended.
Keep your wicks trimmed between about 1/8th and 1/4th of an inch.
Keep burning candles away from children and pets.
Place candles in a draft-free area.
Keep your burning candles away from any flammable objects.
Never leave wick trimmings, matches, or any other material in the wax pool as these can create a fire hazard.
Never blow out a candle's flame. Please use the container's top to cut off the oxygen supply, or a wick dipper or candle snuffer.
Following the candle maintenance and safety instructions outlined above will help ensure your well-being and satisfaction while using our products.
